Super Powers?

Having my nails painted like this made me feel like I was equipped for a Batman-esk brawl. I'd have to say my favorite was the left hand ring finger with the expletive symbols :) haha I just used the flat end of a tooth pick for the dots and then boarded a white blob with black to give it shape. The words were the hardest part. 

Colors of the Wind?

So I was looking on Pinterest the other day and I happened upon this fun design :) I altered it a little bit to fit my own color scheme etc. but they turned out great!

Rainbow Lines

I don't know why it wont upload the picture the right direction, but these were the first nails I did in my new apartment. I love it! They were so fun and very me. They lasted for quite a while too. I got a new nail color and it stays on forever. these just make me happy :)

Girls Night!

I have officially moved to Provo, Utah. Yeah baby! I left Boise on the 2nd of January and stayed that night an one of my oldest and loved friend, Lauria Marble's house. I got in around 10 and we (her, her little sister and I) decided around 12:30 to have an nail painting party. And here is what followed---

I forgot to get a single picture of mine, but I loved them! We didn't end up going to sleep till almost 3:30 that night but the fun and conversations were well worth it. I love those girls :)

Christmas Nails-- pt 2 Santa Claus!

I did these up quick while I was studying. Real simple, but I thought I'd share. Maybe next I'll do 1 Santa nail and then the 9 reindeer!

Speaking of reindeer, have you heard Jack Johnson's version of Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer? I.love.it.

Christmas Nails-- pt. 1

There's a good chance Christmas nails are my favorite. I just love the sparkles and snow flakes and... really I just love Christmas in general, but I'm sure I'll be doing lots of different designs this winter with the season in mind. Here are a few I've already done so far--

These snow flakes are my favorite nails I've ever done. I did them for a trip to temple square, and then again when I went to a ball a about a month later. The red matched my dress perfectly!

Who doesn't love a good candy cane? 

When I was little I used to suck on the long end of my candy cane till it got REALLY sharp and then pretend it was a dagger... and when I say "when I was little" I really mean like...tonight...

Breakfast at Tiffany's

Holly Golightly- "You know those days when you get the mean reds?"

Paul Varjak- "The mean reds, you mean like the blues?" 

       Holly Golightly- "No. The blues are because you're getting fat and maybe it's been raining too long, you're just sad that's all. The mean reds are horrible. Suddenly you're afraid and you don't know what you're afraid of. Do you ever get that feeling?" 

Paul Varjak- "Sure." 

       Holly Golightly- "Well, when I get it the only thing that does any good is to jump in a cab and go to Tiffany's. Calms me down right away. The quietness and the proud look of it; nothing very bad could happen to you there."

What girl wouldn't mind having one of these show up under the Christmas tree? I'm not much of a jewelry person, but that little blue box is pretty and so are these look alike nails.
